Percutaneous mitral valve therapy (MITRALCLIP)

It is a less-invasive treatment option for certain patients with degenerative mitral regurgitation who are not suitable for surgery. Through a femoral vein, a small prosthesis (CLIP) is inserted via catheter, so as to hold native edges together which may reduce the disease. Thanks to MITRALCLIP, patients may benefit from a mini invasive procedure which facilitates and speeds up the postoperative clinical outcomes.
